2023 is history, it is no more, it’s past, it’s gone and won’t be coming back again.
I hope it’s been a happy time for you and yours.
No doubt there have been downs as well as ups, but I hope there were more ups.
I wish you well for 2024.
I don’t do New Year celebrations, haven’t done since the late 80s, when I used to be invited to parties and such.
I ceased being relevant, I also ran out of patience and money, at the cost of it all.
Think I lost all interest when they started selling tickets just to get into the local pub.
I always thought a “Free house” meant anyone could just walk in. Commerce eh.
Will the new year bring change?
I doubt it.
My guess would be that there will still not be enough time for me to do most of the things that I would like to do.
So I shall just hope for happiness and good health, for everyone.
Get those decorations taken down and put up in the attic for another year.
