- Our lass worked her socks off for the gang and me – Christmas dinner was spot on (yet again – don’t know how she does it) – kept smiling all day – made sure everyone had, “Had enough?” all the time.
- The sprogs were well fed, happy and content with their day.

- Just having “a couple of drinks” at 2.30am then up again at 8am is not a good idea at my age.
- Playing a music round of a quiz while others are on another phone in the same room, is not a good idea.

- No ebay seller, you have not “posted my order” when it’s ordered on Christmas day!
- A dash of snow in Scotland does not make a “White Christmas” met office… pissed it down all day here (and everywhere else I suspect).
