Ground control to Major Tom…

Is there anybody out there, whom is also feeling like they are floating around aimlessly in space, with not one clue or sense of direction?
I truly despair most of the time, feel like I’m on another planet.

I can deal with my view not counting for anything or being asked for, yet completely ignored.
What I cannot deal with is the fact that I’m the only one that deals with this predicament on a daily basis?

The irony is of course, that despite there being more opportunities to be listened to, perhaps a record level, there has never been a time when adults have not been listened to as much.
Children don’t listen, family don’t listen, colleagues don’t listen, business staff don’t listen, even the GPs don’t listen.

An woe-be-tide that I actually voice an opinion that forces any of the above to listen and act on what I say, then you’re accused of being aggressive or speaking out of turn.

Well if you don’t want to listen or act, that’s fine, but stop pretending that you do and don’t patronise me that you regard what I’m saying as important and that I may even have a valid point. (A stopped clock is correct at least twice a day)
The solution is simple, don’t bother me.

Make sure your business honours what is sold/promised.
Make sure you listen to the answers when you ask something, whether you like what you hear or not.
I have a valid reason for expressing my opinion, sometimes I may even be half right. When this is the case, then try acting upon it.

If I continue to be ignored or given no reference, then don’t be surprised when I simply stop giving my opinion or answering you questions.
There is not enough time left in my life for me to be pissing around.
